	Marla Townsend Camp Director Coach Townsend is in her 11th year at UAB and in her 21st year of being a head coach at various levels. She is committed to teaching the fundamentals of fastpitch softball. She creates an atmosphere and excitement at every camp. Coach Townsend has received four "Coach of the Year" honors, including the Conference USA Coach of the Year in 2002 and 2006 and 5 All-American awards as a softball player.
	Lucy Bass Camp Instructor Coach Lucy Bass is an instrumental figure in creating successful camps at UAB. Her personality and enthusiasm keep campers coming back year after year. Lucy was a member of the UAB inaugural softball team and is a graduate of UAB. She is in her 7th year as an assistant coach at UAB. Lucy has worked UAB softball camps for the last nine years.
	Beth Mullins Camp Instructor Coach Beth Mullins brings a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to UAB Softball camps. She has a lot of passion for working with aspiring softball athletes. The Fairhope, Ala. native joined the UAB staff in 2007 after spending two seasons as an assistant softball coach at Georgia Southern University. During Mullins' tenure at GSU, the Eagles captured the Southern Conference Tournament Championship and made their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Beth has also coordinated and instructed Marla Townsend's softball camps for six years.
